The Skints - London's Homegrown Heroes
With this album the group has shown us once again why they are so far ahead in their own lane, as the result is a body of work that successfully blends together their Reggae Roots and London ideologies.
With the name of the album based on an imaginary radio station [FM], it was always going to touch on other genres which isn’t unusual for the group but coupled with powerful harmonies and lyrics on current affairs the album takes on a life of its own.
There are tracks for every mood and situation which opens the group up to a whole new fanbase, and since they haven’t released anything since 2014’s Short Change EP it’s a triumphant return to the scene for one of Londons premier homegrown groups.
