We’ve got the top 3 drum & bass records to smash those NYE parties according to North Base.
The trio have been riding the wave of success this year with a host of top appearances at clubs and festivals across Europe and a collection of top records out on some of the biggest labels including Viper and Technique.
The group from Manchester have become one of the hottest new acts in UK bass music since breaking through into the scene around 2011. This year the boys took it uptown and have dropped a tonne of music, including their latest EP Polarity on Viper Recordings. They know how to deliver good music and aren’t afraid of the style - making them some of the most versatile producers in the game.
They have been out on the road relentlessly this year too, clocking in at some of the best clubs and festivals around, from their hometown’s famous Warehouse Project, all the way to the snowy mountains in Austria. North Base have been shutting down stages with their brilliant DJ sets, some of which are streamed live on their Facebook. You’re welcome.
Following on from their rather large EP on Viper, the North Base trio have made it onto the Viper 2015 drum & bass annual. A collection of 18 of the biggest records on the imprint, complete with 6 exclusive tracks that include North Base’s 'Give You Up'. Another big compilation from a big label, just goes to show why Viper are one of the best in the game.
