DGTL Festival is expanding! The Amsterdam based festival will travel to Parc del Forum in Barcelona for the first time on August 14th and 15th. Over two days, more than 40 artists from around the world will showcase the best of innovative and deep electronic music. The line-up is not released yet, but expect the perfect combination of international headliners, Dutch talent and local heroes.
Parc Del Forum is a gigantic concrete platform on the northern part of Barcelona’s beautiful coastline and is a match made in heaven for DGTL. The specially designed event location will be transformed into one of the industry’s leading underground festivals, with a progressive approach on every aspect. Expect innovative stage designs and lightning, art installations and sculptures from around the world, as well as sustainable innovation through the DGTL Revolution project, which has been awarded a two out of four star rating by ‘A Greener Festival’ last October. The theme of this year’s Revolution in Barcelona is Plastic Waste. The festival will run a full program for separating and recycling all plastic used during the festival.
DGTL Festival has plans for exploring even more countries later this year and beyond, and has already spoken with potential partners in several countries worldwide, so it could be coming to a city near you very soon!
For the full program, tickets and travel packages keep an eye out on the DGTL Barcelona website or Facebook page.
