As all the protests at the moment have destroyed Turkeys tourist image you can simply not ignore its beautiful landscape and stunning views whihc have previously marked it down as one of the places to go in the world. Don't be put off by the inner city violence as there is plenty of rural areas that will blow you away to visit.
Heres just a few reasons to visit:

- Incredible coastline
- Picture-perfect mountains rising out of lovely litlle valleys
- Amazing places to stay
- Very friendly people
- Plenty of tourist free areas
- Plenty of very touristy areas, whichever one you prefer
- Huge gorges with water rising up to your waistline
- Unique culture like no other
And the exchange rate is great, since they haven't signed up to the euro, with the rate at £1 to 2.95 Turkish Lira meaning you can get some very cheap deals.
