AS ONE IN THE PARK 2013

Presented by Orange Nation, As One In The Park is the first credible large-scale gay festival in London for over a decade, putting the capital in line with other major European cities. Victoria Park is firmly established as a prime festival site, already playing host to events including Field Day. As One is the day after Field Day and will be using their infrastructure and production crew.
BRIT nominee Rita Ora has been announced as the headline artist for the main stage, performing her three No.1 singles taken from her No.1 album, ‘Hot Right Now’, ‘R.I.P.’, ‘How We Do (Party)’ and other hits including ‘Radioactive’ and ‘Shine Ya Light’. Very special guest, Holly Johnson, will be making his first London appearance for several years and will be performing his greatest hits including solo hits ‘Love Train’ and ‘Americanos’ together with classic Frankie Goes To Hollywood material, ‘The Power Of Love’, ‘Two Tribes’, ‘Welcome To The Pleasuredome’, and ‘Relax’, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. Conor Maynard will also be performing live on the main stage, along with Katy B, X Factor stars Union J and Rylan, who will be hosting and performing, and international superstar DJ Offer Nissim.
There will also be 4 large indoor arenas and 5 additional stages, which will be hosted by some of the world’s leading gay party brands. The Circuit Arena will be presented by international circuit parties, Matinee, WE Party, The Week, Scream, and Rapido, with the Best Of British Arena hosted by Orange Nation featuring clubs, Beyond, Orange, Salvation, Wild Fruit, and Aftershock, with headline DJs Roger Sanchez, Boy George and DJ/vocalist, Peyton. The Girl’s Arena supported by Girl Action, Mint, Code, Girlie Circuit, Candy Bar, One Love, The Girls Next Door, L Fest, and Planet London is headlined by Skin from Skunk Anansie (DJ set) with Short & Girlie Show hosting the Women’s Comedy Stage headlined by stand up comic Jen Brister.
Other brands involved in the festival are Madame Jojo’s and The Joiners Arms who are hosting the Village Green cabaret stage, Bearracuda Bear’s Arena, Delooded Sound System, Popstarz Band Stand, Shadow Lounge VIP, and bars, Ku Bar, Rupert Street and Comptons.
Held since 2010 at Vauxhall’s Fire, As One is London’s biggest multi-room gay club event, uniting the biggest brands and promoters from across the world for special one-off events.
