One Love Peace Festival 13' // 16-18 August 2013
Inspired by the One Love Peace Concert in Kingston, Jamaica back in 1978, this present-day London incarnation aims to celebrate the very best in reggae and Caribbean music as well as promoting a peaceful theme. The 1978 concert was held to bring about peace between warring factions in Jamaica and was headlined by the famous reggae superstar Bob Marley. Now his famous 'One Love' lyrics give this festival its title. Amongst the headliners at Mabley Green this year are a plethora of world renowned names including T-Pain, Chipmunk, Rev Run and Bunny Wailer.
