British Summer Time- The alternative festival
Tuesday 2nd April 2013 | Varala
One of Britain’s favourite alternative rock bands, Kaiser Chiefs, are scheduled to take the stage for Hyde Park’s British Summer Time festival. The Leeds group will be joined by London’s own Bush to support headliner Bon Jovi on 5th July. It’s going to be a battle of the best rock ballads with Bon Jovi expected to play all their big hits plus some new tunes from their recently released What About Now? album.
There’ll be loads of other indie groups to check out as well. On The Theatre stage, The Futureheads will be accompanied by Irish indie rockers The Coronas, Norwegian folksy musician Bernhoft, and then Charlie Simpson shuts it ‘Down Down Down’.
Over on the Village Hall area, things get a bit heavier with Rival Sons, Little Barrie and Leo Gun. Then, at The Band Stand, another set kicks off with All The Young, Josh Flowers & The Wild and The Virginmarys. So get your tickets for this one now, because they’re already selling out!
