Tuesday 2nd April 2013 | Osh
Calling all adrenaline junkies: feeling a little daring? From the words of Kerouac, "the mad ones , mad to live, mad to talk, desirous of all, the ones who never yawn or say a common place thing, but burn burn burn", maybe not to that poetic degree, but the ones who just cant resist the dangerous allure of the edge of that edge, theres no sitting still, who choose to live life at 150 thousand miles an hour without much worry for the consequences. With the need to do something that makes your blood rush to your head and get the adrenaline pumping, well look no further because today from 12-6pm the wreckless thrill seeking citizens of our planet will be collected together in Harrow, on the precipice of an inch from the jaws of death, bungee jumping from a 225ft crane, ok maybe not death, but its definately a form of free fall into the abyss and beyond. Many of the jumpers are raising money for various causes. On lookers will get to feast an eye on the spectacle, so if you even enjoy watching others squirm at great heights this is undefiantly the place for you! the saying, "if you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space" seems quite aptly put for this occassion, what a way to live, limitless. There may be a few bunjee jumps still to be sold, today, so what could've been quite the mundane, slow, average morning for you could potentially turn into a lara croft ridden aftenoon, we dont live forever people, these moments are amalgamated in a perfect tapestry of events created to be taken, just for you. Get down to Harrow! The wreckless event can be found in the main field left of the station.
