Slam Dunk Festival 2013
Thursday 7th March 2013 | Fiona
This festival takes place at three locations, over three days. It happens in the North up at Leeds University, in the Midlands at Wolverhampton Civic Hall, and in the South, down at the forum in Hertfordshire.
It’s a one day festival, and tickets cost just £34, or £37 with the after show. For that small amount of money you get to see a whole host of amazing bands. Maryland’s finest All Time Low are headlining the festival, accompanied by Deaf Havana. You will also get to see some pretty awesome performances from We Are The Ocean, Man Overboard, Four Year Strong, The Summer Set, and many more. There are seven stages for you to feast your eyes upon throughout the entire day.
It all kicks off at one o’clock on Saturday 25th May, at Leeds University, then they do it all again on the Sunday at The Forum, at Hertfordshire University (which is a mere 20 minute train from Kings Cross Station), and then they finish off on the Monday Bank Holiday, 27th May at The Civic Hall in Wolverhampton.
So maybe it’s not like your average festival, but you get a hell of a lot for your money with this one. You get to see a shocking number of live bands, and for a slice of what you would pay another festival.
