European party destinations 2013

Barcelona, Spain
A blend of urban energy, beach town atmosphere and upbeat culture for an unrivalled Catalonian experience. Barcelona is known for its random nights out that begin after a late tapas dinner, followed by visiting numerous bars in the narrow winding streets, and end up in one of the many ‘disco-bars’.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Amsterdam has always been known as a party city, though often this tag has come with a seedy reputation. But there is so much more to this diverse capital than the Red Light District, coffee shops and the neon lights of Leidseplein that most tourists see or think of when they hear Amsterdam.

Berlin, Germany
The city that truly never sleeps, where the party never stops and where the youth culture can be seen dripping down the walls of the numerous bars, cafes and clubs. There is such an amazing choice of clubs and things going on that we don’t even know where to begin. Berlin is an electric city jam packed with culture and a never ending energy.

Istanbul, Turkey
Night life in Istanbul is huge. There are many popular establishments — some aged over thirty years old and some very down to date. Being such a big city with several city centres, Istanbul has more than one entertainment destination.

Mallorca, Spain
The cosmopolitan island of Mallorca offers some of the finest exotic beach clubs in the world that have become the centres of Mediterranean nightlife. Ayia Napa, Cyprus
A popular resort on the island of Cyprus, Ayia Napa is famous for its atmosphere and the fantastic Nissi Beach. During summer 2012 there were beach parties featuring the Kooks (June) and Example (July), as well as a great range of clubs to tempt ravers. Last season also saw Example (July) and many more making the Ayia Napa the perfect destination for music lovers.

Zante/Zakynthos, Greece
The clubbing hub of Zante is the town of Laganas, home to a great variety of bars and clubs, the choice of nightlife will keep you entertained every night of your holiday. Wherever you go you’ll find a party atmosphere as everyone is up for a good time. Zakynthos' nightlife is crazy and exciting.

Sopot Poland
A surprise perhaps to many to make the list but it’s a sign that the economic growth in Poland is starting to pay off where it counts: the party scene. Sopot is located near the northern Polish city of Gdańsk and is indeed a party town, in fact Sopot is known as THE party town during summer. There are numerous bars and beach nightclubs that the young and beautiful make Sopot their own in the summer months. Basking on the beach in sun by day and partying by night, until the sun comes up again.

Corfu, Greece
Nightlife in Corfu should just be called Morning Life. The truth is that the party does not end in the Ionian Islands until the last man or woman retires to their hotel. A variety of bars, nightclubs, and cafes are at the traveler's disposal. The stream of night music starts in Corfu town's Liston and extends well up the north coast .
