We're very pleased to unveil the initial line up for The Great Escape 2013! We hope it will transform your Shrove Tuesday, getting you hot under the collar at the prospect of being in Brighton for TGE this May.
An act we can't wait to see again are the magnificent Bstille who dished out doses of their melodic storytelling to rapturous crowds at an intimate show back at The Great Escape 2011. Two years down the line, following the release of their much anticipated debut album, due in March, the four-piece will storm the Brighton Dome, back with a vengeance! To access this show you can either top up your 3 day festival wristband for just £7 by CLICKING HERE, or purchase separate show tickets by CLICKING HERE. If you have yet to purchase your festival wristband and want to attend this show CLICK HERE where you can purchase both tickets together.
Our line up so far includes an eclectic selection of artists, from the melodies of dreamy lo-fi pop trio Unknown Mortal Orchestra to the immersive sound scapes of King Krule, the thrashing guitars of US melodic hardcore outfit Title Fight and the haunting ballads of Brooklyn's starlet Eddi Front. For the party animals amongst you, we bring the sounds of dancehall DJ master David Rodigan, the chance to get ferocious with genre-distorting grime artist Scrufizzer and the slick, synth magic of lyrical electro-pop threesome CHVRCHES. We are also extremely excited to announce we'll be welcoming the hotly-tipped and emotionally charged Tom Odell aboard as well as welcoming back the seductive sounds of R&B/hip pop duo AlunaGeorge.
