Gyptian is back with ‘SLR’ a six track digital only EP that showcases selections from the upcoming album ‘Sex, Love & Reggae’ (due early 2013).
Feature tracks include ‘Slow Wine’ on the Rio riddim which has racked up over 2 million YouTube views since it was posted. ‘My Number One’ his cover of the Gregory Isaacs classic which was featured on the recent VP compilation ‘We Remember Gregory’, to great critical acclaim. Plus, the new hit ‘Overtime’ on the Over Proof riddim that is currently blowing up Jamaican radio airwaves.
A lover’s mood is set when Gyptian addresses the ladies with smooth lyrics and seductive melodies on these six strong selections from him upcoming fourth VP Records album. In 2010 Gyptian made his mark with the international hit “Hold You” which has sold over 500,000 downloads to date.
