For those of you that didn’t to get tickets for Bestival this weekend or the music lovers that aren’t fans of the festival scene (hey dry shampoo and porter loos aren’t for everyone), you’ll be happy to know that Bestival is going to be the first ever UK festival to be broadcast on the internet. They’ll be streaming the main stage and Big Top on September 7th, 8th and 9th via their YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/bestivaltv
Bestival curator Rob da Bank said: "I've been watching festivals such as Coachella and Tomorrowland on YouTube and loving the futuristic new angle on showing festivals in a different light via a medium that nearly everyone in the music and festival worlds is tuned in to.”
UK summers have become all about festivals, so while September is offering up this last glimpse of sunshine we’ve got to make the most of it! If you’re not already at the Isles of White, but are dying to watch then pull out your deck chair and get online. You’ll have the likes of Stevie Wonder, Florence and the Machine and Emile Sande, streamed right to your home.
Here’s a taster of what’s to come.
