Big Chill Festival Due For A Transformation?

Despite the fact that the Big Chill festival was cancelled this year due to an apparent disruption in “artist availability”, organiser Melvin Benn seems hopeful towards the next event. In an interview with BBC Newsbeat, Benn claimed that he was “sure something [would] return that [would] have a completely fresh take on what a festival should be”.
He also implied that he would be visiting the site to review these changes, asserting that he will be working on something which “won’t necessarily be the Big Chill - but a replacement or something to be born out of that”. With so much uncertainty surrounding the festival, it will be interesting to see what alterations Benn has made to the festival and whether the Big Chill will still stand by next Summer.
