Festival: Pukkelpop

After storms ruined last year, the festival sun is well and truly out for 2012. Grab your sunscreen and get going.
If you haven’t been put off by the horrendous storm that tore through Pukkelpop festival in eastern Belgium last year then you are in for a very special summer 2012. Following the devastation of the main stage collapsing last year organisers who will be hoping for much better weather have secured some massive artists.
The Stone Roses, Bjork and The Foo Fighters are set to headline over the three days making Pukkelpop the place to be for all Indie/Rock fans this summer. Pukkelpop which is the second largest festival in the whole of Belgium has been bringing rock to Belgium since 1985, the festival has grown considerably in both reputation and size.
If you’re an adventurous kind of person and if the UK festivals aren’t quite doing it for you anymore then Pukkelpop is well worth splashing out on.
