D&BTV 200: In The Rhythmix
Drum and Bass |
Wednesday 30th May 2012 | Osh
On June 6-7 D&BTV will be hosting something very special for drum n bass fans in celebration of their 200th show. Drum & Bass Arena have teamed up with Brighton based charity Rhytmix to provide music fans with a star-studded line-up of DJs for a 24hour live broadcast whilst raising money for an incredibly just cause.
Rhythmix is one of the UK’s leading music charities, delivering a large range of music making opportunities for young people across the South East region. Rhythmix has worked with more than 40,000 young people, enabling their creative activity through music and developing their personal and social skills.
You may be familiar with the charity following the successful legal battle between themselves and the X-factor. But even better than pissing off Simon Cowell, the charity has also been, and continues to be, very successful in challenging young people to express their creativity whilst providing a range of support, information, advice and guidance through workforce development.
Back to the music, and D&B Arena will see 30 of the finest drum n bass DJ’s playing exclusive sets through-out a 24 hour marathon show commencing on the 6th June. The lineup looks like this:
