This year’s festivals offers great music, especially for guitar lovers! Grab the chance and travel around Europe and meet new people whilst enjoying the summer, the magical atmosphere that only a festival can create and of course the fantastic music.
Roskilde festival (Denmark); warm up: 30th June – 4th July, Music: 5 – 8 July
Held in the South of Roskilde is one of Europe’s biggest annual music festivals, with 200 acts, 7 stages, Cinema, great skating place and loads of different events to attend, such as ‘the naked race’, it’s no wonder why 75,000 people attend every year. This year’s line- up features: Jack White, Mew, The Cure, Bruce Springsteen, The Vaccines and many more.

Sziget Festival (Hungary): 6th – 13th August
Sziget is one of the biggest and most cultural rock/party festivals in Europe. Sziget means ‘Island festival’ being held on an island, and since created in 1993 the festival has now been ranked to be one of the top five best in Europe. The festival is famous for playing a wide range of genres on their 6 stages which is being accompanied this year by example: Friendly Fires, The Vaccines, The Horrors, Two Door Cinema Club, The Killers and The Tings Tings.

Rock Werchter (Belgium) 28th June – 1st July
Being in top five too for being one of the biggest rock festivals in Europe, you can’t miss out of this one! Having a total of attendees for all four days combined, of 69,000. Even though it only has 3 stages, their line- ups are insanely mind blowing with artists such as: Jack White, The temper Trap, Lana Del Rey, Deadmau5, Beirut, Mumford and Sons, The Vaccines, Florence + the Machine, Snow Patrol, Red Hot Chili Peppers and loads more.

Festival Internacional de Bennicàssim (FIB), (Spain): 12th – 15th July
The FIB is popular because of many reasons. It’s is close to several beaches, plays amazing music plus the parties. Furthermore it also contains short films, fashions shows and art and has five stages, so it’s no wonder why the FIB has a reputation as being one of the best among the festival circuit. This year’s line- up is featured by: Bob Dylan, Crystal Castles, Florence + the Machines, Noel Gallagher’s high Flying Birds, The Horrors, The Maccabees and The Vaccines.
