I-Octane - Crying To The Nation

Wednesday 21st December 2011 | Osh

Being compared to artists like Sizzla and Buju Banton is a great feat for anyone. So then what if you are an artist with a career that only spans five years?

I-Octane and his 14 track album won’t be a disappointment with original, never-before-heard tracks and favourites such as ‘My Life’ and ‘Study You Friend’ featured in the line-up. And with a mix of new and conscious sounds and Tarrus Riley, Alborosie and Agent Sasco appearing on tracks, I-Octane is setting the scene with a current album that speaks to everybody.
With relatable lyrics and tunes made to get us moving, this album is definitely worth the wait. Somewhat a rare product in the world of dancehall, this album is promoting positivity with lyrics expressing romance, social issues and compassion; it is certainly one to add to the collection! Crying To The Nation is due for release on 7th February.
