Bleep43 House | Tuesday 15th November 2011 | Osh The website, party organizer and record label that’s plugging techno in London. Bleep43 seem to be advocates of electronic dance music on almost every level. Founded in 2000 by friends Toby Frith and Emile Facey as an online electronic music database, it has expanded since then into a party organizer and record label. Over the years the organization has operated very much under a DIY aesthetic something that is reflected in their choice to move their club night to Corsica Studios in 2006. The guests are also very carefully selected; the likes of Omar-S, Surgeon and Derrick May have graced the decks in the past and with more parties promised soon, let’s hope they stay true to form. Despite the pulling power they have in the world of international names they remain dedicated to their local roots. Far fewer recordings by artists on the label such as Jo Johnson and Facey’s own Plant43 project made it onto the shelves than were initially intended so take a listen online and if you like what you hear, get down to their next party and show your support.
