On Thursday 4th December, Tyrone ‘Mixologist’ Francis drops in for an exclusive in store at BM Soho, ahead of Makin' Moves final party of the year at Trapeze Basement club on Friday 5th.
Label owner and co-founder of Black n Yello “Tyrone Francis” is a true veteran in the house music scene and one of NYC’s finest DJs. He can be found spinning at elite parties in NYC including Shelter, Body & Soul, and Libation as well as hosting his own Blak n Yello bi-weekly events in Brooklyn.
BKNY has become an international destination for dancers, clubbers and party people, bringing back the true essence of NYC's underground scene and putting Brooklyn on the map!
His phenomenal mixes and technical skills have rightfully earned him his moniker, “The Mixologist”.
Born a Londoner, Tyrone moved to Brooklyn when he was eleven at the age of sixteen, Tyrone had already experienced his first “Paradise Garage” party. Needless to say, Larry Levan became a major influence in his life, but it was DJ David Camacho who would become Tyrone’s mentor. Francis went from carrying Camacho’s record crates, to opening up for him in all the major parties.
Makin' Moves are thrilled and mega excited to have this luminary return to his birth place of London for two special gigs. See you at the front!
