Rinse Presents: A Visual Retrosprective

Drum and Bass | Thursday 11th August 2011 | Osh

Between the 12th-21st August, Rinse Fm will be hosting their first ever gallery show at the Truman Brewery. The 10 day exhibition will be celebrating and documenting the design and photography of the London based radio station and label who have championed the underground scene over the past 17 years.

The show will be a collaborative effort by Give Up Art and Shaun Bloodworth. Give It Up has been working with Rinse from the very start and has worked on projects such as every Tempa release and the Rinse redesign. In 2005, they collaborated with Shaun Bloodworth for the first time on one of the first Tempa ‘Dubstep Allstars’ and since then they have barely seperated. They have made Rinse look like the brand we know and love, developing the house style and working on covers for the likes of Skream and Benga.

Rinse Presents: A Visual Retrospective is a unique insight into the youth and underground music culture that Rinse has seen since its inception. It’s a celebration of their history and it is something not to be missed.

Catch the exhibition at the Truman Brewery Gallery, Shop 14, Hanbury Street between 12th-21st August. The private viewing is 11th August.
