Justice Finally Announce New Album

House | Wednesday 10th August 2011 | Osh

Release date is set at October 25

After 4 years of waiting, the French duo have announced the follow-up to Cross. It will be titled Audio, Video, Disco and will feature guest vocalists Ali Love, Morgan Phalen (of the Diamond Nights) and Vincenzi Vendetta (of the Midnight Juggernauts).

There has been much debate about the reason Justice have taken so long to make the hotly anticipated album. Speaking to Pitchfork on the day of the announcement Xavier de Rosnay said “Although the record sound a bit band-y, it’s mainly electronic, we wanted to keep an electronic aesthetic because we like the way it sounds and it’s more practical for us. We are not good enough instrumentalists, and the fact we don’t perform all of this live keeps it on the good side . We played everything on the album ourselves, but it took a long time to make it because we are not good players. And if it was played by real musicians, some of the songs would probably be a bit to ‘shred’.

This is an album the dance world has been waiting for. After the success of Cross and latest single ‘Civilization’ there is more than enough anticipation and excitement. TGN seriously can’t wait!
