The man for all occasions – DJ Cassidy - has become firmly cemented as one of the most prevalent and multi-faceted DJs in the world, showcasing his unbeatably diverse vibes to suit every time and place. Sporting one of the most colourful résumés in the game, DJ Cassidy has played for the likes of Jay Z and Beyonce, P Diddy, Oprah Winfrey and has even graced the Whitehouse with his impeccable beat selections for Obama’s inaugural celebration.
With the life-long aim of “bringing the greatest and most universal dance music of all time back to nightlife, back to the airwaves and back to the dance floor”, we caught up with the man himself to talk about the release of his new album ‘Calling All Hearts’ and to find out about the influences, history and ideas behind the DJ who harnesses musical talent like no other.
