The former lead singer of Third World, died in hospital today. William 'Bunny Rugs' Clarke was turning 66 in a few days. He passed away in a Miami hospital, in intensive care, having been ill for some time. He sang on Third World's debut album Third World recorded in 1976, during the golden age of reggae music.

Third World were known for their innovative sound, bridging genres, such as their infamous tune Now That We've Found Love, released on Island Records, which merged Reggae and Disco and was a worldwide hit. Whether or not you hold Third World in high regards, it is undeniable that this is another tragic death of a reggae legend who deserves praise and respect for his immense talent. May he rest in peace.
