From Snoop Dogg to Snoopzilla via Snoop Lion

Swag west coast voice Snoop Dogg, who sometimes goes by Snool Lion, will now be known by the name Snoopzilla. I’m not joking. He is rebranding himself once again for a funk project with Dam-Funk entitled 7 Days of Funk.
Seems like a suspiciously quick change of spirits for Snoop Dogg who tells us in his documentary (Reincarnated) that he has found inner peace and spirituality thanks to Rastafari and reggae music. The roaring lion has gone docile for the sweet sound of funk.
The project promises to be interesting and, will most certainly appease some of the frustration that was arouse regarding Snoop Lion’s ‘reincarnation’ in the Rasta and reggae community.
Nonetheless I am intrigued to see what Snoopzilla has to offer. After all, he’s a legend in the hip hop arena.
