An “EGGclusive" Mix brought to you by Ireen Amnes from Under My Feet, deploying some very fresh and very Techno cuts for your stereophonic pleasure.
Rome-born and Egg London resident Ireen Amnes brings her unique collaborative project Under My Feet. to Easter’s Unusual Suspects Ibiza party.
Ireen Amnes is London’s creative rising techno star, DJ, producer, singer and multi-instrumentalist. Born in Rome and now rooted in London, Ireen is the unexpected champion of London’s underground and undiscovered club scene.
Ireen is revolutionising London’s club scene, playing experimental and industrial techno sets, having recently partnered with ROLI keyboards and the Seaboard Rise, which she incorporates in her live performances. Her sets feature a range of her own productions, being road-tested for 2017’s much anticipated debut EP release, which is set to be the must-hear, have and play release of the year. Apart from her solo project, she’s also working to give undiscovered artists, musicians and DJs a platform through underground artist collective Under My Feet.
Ireen’s eclectic, electric, sometimes dark and moody musical journey has moved effortlessly through the genres of rock and metal, into the contrasting world of electronic music. Ireen has developed her own unique style, exploring the connection between self-produced experimental sounds, hypnotic melodies and heavy beats.
2016 saw Ireen secure a residency at Egg London where she has been sharing the decks with legendary Sven Väth, German duo Pan-Pot, Matador, Gary Beck, Anna, and more, and she’s a regular at the infamous Berlin Berlin nights, alongside Fidelity Kastrow, Jonty Skruff and Juli N. More, residents of Berlin’s Sisyphos, where Ireen made her debut this year. She also secured gigs at Prague’s Cross Club, London’s Electrowerkz, Rome’s Rashomon, Egg’s label launch at ADE in Amsterdam and Space and Sankeys in Ibiza, as well as a new bi-monthly residency for Under My Feet. at Vicious Club in Rome. Needless to say, 2017 is set to be another dynamic year for Ireen Amnes.
