Terrence Parker Preps New EP

Detroit based DJ, producer and gospel-house pioneer Terrence Parker (famous for using telephone handsets as headphones) is due to add to an already impressive discography with a new EP due to be released under Carl Craig’s imprint Planet E.
Parker is a big name both in Detroit house and in the dance music industry in general, with over 100 releases since 1988 including ‘Love's Got Me High’ and ‘The Question’ as well as a host of remix projects and collaborations with the likes of Beyonce, Kanye West, Shakira and Kelly Rowland (to name just a few).
This latest effort from the Motor City icon comes in the form of a 3 track remix EP of Terrence’s own ‘Finally/Baby Be Mine’. As well as Parker’s ‘Planet E mix’ of the soulful house number, the EP undergoes another two re-works including ‘C2 Instrumental Edit’ from Craig as well as a particularly infectious, synth-heavy dance mix from Louie Vega.
The EP will be available for purchase on 12” sometime in August; for now check out the stream below.
