Rude Kid, FTSE and Jaykae team up for end of summer banger

Grime | Wednesday 29th August 2018 | Alex

Rude Kid and FTSE have teamed up with Brum MC Jaykae for a feel-good single to see out the summer.

The track, 'Honeydew', draws on elements of grime, UKG and house for a dancefloor ready banger, combining a female vocal sample, string melody and Jaykae's skippy flows.

Having become a vital component in the rise of the UK urban scene, Rude Kid's productions have been blessed by just about every big name in grime, with the likes of Skepta, Wiley, Kano and Ghetts all having worked with him at various points in their careers.

Birmingham producer FTSE has been on the buttons for remixes for Little Mix, Kideko and Elderbrook, as well as writing and producing tracks for Mø, Peking Duk and Burna Boy. His own catalogue of music includes ‘Work U Out' with Donae’O and Shola Ama, ‘Pork Chop’ and ‘I’ll Show U A Good Time’.

Jaykae, meanwhile, has worked with everyone from Skepta, Rudimental and Mike Skinner to Lotto Boyz and Mist.

‘Honey Dew’ is now available to stream and buy here
