Russian heavyweight, Mizo shares 5 tracks that are dominating his playlists right now.
A distinct name on the ever-growing Russian drum & bass scene and former member of Gydra, Mizo has caught the attention of many with his awe-inspiring records. As many Eastern Europeans, his tunes have a heavy neurofunk flavour, whipping up tension with truly epic orchestral moments before tearing it up with brutal drops.
Since 2009 he’s been an active player in the scene and throughout his career has seen his tracks released on the likes of Dutty Audio, Red Light. Just last month he joined Eatbrain team. Stepping up to one of the leading neurofunk labels, Mizo dropped them a masterclass EP, Soul Reaper. Listen to the release on their SoundCloud and bag yourself a copy here.
To celebrate their debut on Eatbrain, and continued success Mizo we wondered just what one of Russia’s biggest drum & bass acts listens to. We’ve got them to share with us 5 tracks that currently are sitting in their playlists and there all bangers!
