Naples opens like an amphitheatre on the sea, surrounded by Mount Vesuvius, the coastal mountains and islands. The ciry, at the centre of the Mediterranean, is the capital of Campania Region and often known as the capital of Southern Italy.

Naples is one of the most beautiful cities in Italy. It's an ancient and cultural city rich in history, art and tradition. In Naples there is everything: fortresses and castles in the sea, palaces, museums, churches, monuments and caves.
From the paintings of the Pio Monte della Misericordia to the cemetery of Fantanelle to Piazza Castello, one of the oldest castles in Maschio Angioino there is something for everyone.

History
