This weeks raves to look out for

Drum and Bass | Wednesday 26th June 2013 | sam

If you love you’re drum and bass then your spoilt for choice this weekend.  Fabrics going to be kicking the weekend of with a massive night featuring some of the best djs ,mc’s, and producers in the business such as dub phizix, dj hype, hazard, funsta mc, enei, ulterior motive and many more.

For all the sound system junkies get yourself down to the scala on Friday to whiteness the university of dub featuring legendary dub artists such as aba-shanti, jah youth, and blackboard jungle. This event has got to be one of the best dub events in the country and if you’re a big dub fan then I can’t imagine any other night in London that could top this. Massive vibes! Saturdays looking very promising as we see legend LTJ Bukem, sp.mc and hidden orchestra (live) set to play at the forum.

The garage in Islington also sees another drum and bass legend set to play who goes by the name of ray Keith. Other artists also include sukh knight, and big narstie.

If you live in the Brixton area then get yourself down to plan b for Innasoul where you can experience Marcus intalex, total science, Utah jazz, and nookie.

If you prefer something more chilled then it’s worth checking out plastic people on Saturday for floating points and prosumer, if you’re into your soulful house.

The difficult thing for you this weekend could be choosing which event to go to especially if your like me and like the sound of them all. If you are planning on raving this weekend and having trouble deciding which one to go to then I would personally recommend the university of dub for its friendly atmosphere, good food, and incredible sound system. The bass will literally melt your face.
