Lovebox has made its name as the most genre-crossing, entertainment-pushing, LGBT-friendly festival in London, which is no mean feat considering it jostles for top place with Field Day, SW4 and Found.
Held 15-16 July in east London’s Victoria Park, the festival’s first wave of lineup announcements include Chet Faker, MØ, Kano, Jungle, Jack Garratt and Friday headliner Major Lazer, along with Saturday headliner LCD Soundsystem.
Now in its fourteenth year, the festival is set to bring much more than just a lineup – Kopparberg will have a place at Lovebox in the form of their Urban Forest stage and bar, whilst other stages will be curated by Noisey, Thump, Hackney’s NTS Radio, Soundcrash in association with Clash and Krankbrother.
Legendary Spanish party Elrow bring their psychedelic circus of sunny house and ridiculous stage props to Lovebox with Braziian flair – Elrow Presents Sambodromo do Brasil. The Bump Roller Disco and spoken word and poetry stage – Voicebox – are a few of the other things that make Lovebox unique.
