First acts announced for Pitchfork Paris

Pitfork Festival Paris has today announced the first set of acts on the bill. The festival, which is entering its third year, will take place at Grande Hall de la Villette from 31st October to 2nd November and early bird tickets are on sale now. As of yet, only six acts have been revealed and they are The Knife, Hot Chip, Deerhunter, Warpaint, The Haxan Cloak and Junip.
Swedish electronic duo The Knife are renowned for their high conceptual live shows and the siblings have gained a cult following over the past decade which has seen the release of four studio albums. Hailing from London, Hot Chip have consisantly pushed the boundaries of British pop music, culminating in the release of their fifth album In Our Heads in June 2012.
Early bird tickets are priced at €99.90, approximately £85. Once they have sold out the ticket price will increase to €129.90.
