V Recordings Present: David Boomah - 'One World Many Cultures'

You will have heard the sublime vocals of David Boomah before. A hugely respected name across an array of genres and thirteen years after his vocals featured on ‘Who Run Tings’ from Shy Fx, he now presents ‘One World Many Cultures’.
Dropped on 20th May, it is Boomah’s debut album, and represents his stature as a lyricist in 2013. Featuring a whole host of collaborations including Tenor Fly, Harry Shotta and Serocee to name a few, it is backed with razer sharp production from Aries & Gold, Bennie Page, Serum and Rob & Robbie.
The ever popular V Recordings are extending their genres with this one; the album of course has strong ties with Jungle and Drum and Bass, but there are forays into Dubstep, Dancehall, Breaks and of course Reggae here. The title itself is self-explanatory; David is passionate about celebrating diversity and his music undoubtedly reflects this. Unsurprisingly, ‘One World Many Cultures’ has already received support from the likes of Crissy Criss, Rob Da Bank and the legendary David Rodigan.
This is a landmark release for both V and David Boomah – an exploration through music without boundaries, and it is brimming with passion. Particular highlights include ‘Spread A Little Love’ and ‘Forward Ever’.
