Camp Bestival - Back and Badder Than Ever

Camp Bestival is back for its 6th birthday this summer, and with the line-up just announced it seems festival season is set to go off with a massive bang.
Brainchild of DJ Rob Da Bank, the festival has gone from strength to strength. It is known for catering for all tastes, showcasing the best in popular music, and championing emerging talent.
This year looks to be badder than ever, so get your neon paint and wellies ready to party hard in Dorset this August.
Heading up Friday is double Mercury Award nominee Richard Hawley, who’s keeping no secrets about his excitement, saying he’s ‘chuffed to have been asked to headline this festival’ . Iconic rock legends Levellers, are also looking forward to headlining Saturday’s crowd, quipping “We never thought of ourselves as camp but we know we're going to fit right in at Camp Bestival because we just love to dress up as women and play campfire anthems!” . Ultimately, sending off the final night you’ve got edgy pop-king Labyrinth, whose sure to get campers partying hard.
Treating folk pop fans, Rob’s lined up the breathrough talents of Tom Odell and Gabrielle Alpin, as well as indie-rockers I Am Kloot fresh from their European tour. Whilst DJ sets from Grandmaster Flash, David Rodigan’s Ram Jam, Fabio + Grooverider, and of course the Rob Da Bank himself are set to entertain fans across the weekend.
But Camp-B’s not just about the music, with their family-friendly vibe they’ve catered for everyone; with comedy from Alan Davis, an Alice in Wonderland panto, funfair, maypole dancing, you name it, crazy antics abound! Even Dick and Dom have resurfaced from the hangover-TV of our youth to piss about festival-side. Amazing.
And finally, it wouldn’t be Camp Bestival without infamous the fancy dress competition, this years theme is ‘Around The world’, so crack out your best thinking caps as bizarre/crazy creations are encouraged.
