Three Bestival Goers Killed

This year’s fantastic Bestival ended on a sad note when a coach carrying people back from the festival crashed into a tree last night. Three people were killed and another was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital with life-changing injuries according to police. Almost 50 others were injured in the accident.
The 51-seater coach crashed near the Hindhead Tunnel in Surrey at 11.50pm, with no other vehicles involved. This event puts a downer on what was an awesome festival including headlining performances from Stevie Wonder, Florence & The Machine and New Order. Thousands of music lovers went to the weekend in the Isle of Wight.
Everyone’s thoughts are with the unfortunate victims and their families. Otherwise, there is reason to celebrate a great festival and we look forward to next year.
