Win a pair of tickets to Playgroup Festival 2012!
The festival season is drawing to a close, but on the weekend of 21-23 September 3500 happy people are set to see it out in style at Playgroup Festival.
It’s been a beautiful summer of wonderful festivals, and sun that is all the more easy to enjoy for its elusive nature earlier in the season, but at the same time the dodgy start has meant this summer is over far too early.
I’ve been preparing a shoe box (Blue Peter style) to put my dancing wellies away to hibernate for the winter, but I’m not ready for the festival season to end yet, and so we’ll be journeying to Playgroup Festival on the weekend of the 21-23 September for one last weekend in a field, and it’s looking as if it’s going to be pretty special.
Playgroup Festival is ‘Small, beautifully formed and teeming with art, music and laughter’, in the beautiful setting of the Eridge Park estate near Tunbridge Wells (half way between London and Brighton). Playgroup is set to be an amazing party not to be missed, with organisers who really care about making it an enjoyable (and slightly kooky) experience for everyone.
True to its name, Playgroup is embracing fun and games: all attendants of the festival are invited to embrace the fancy dress theme of ‘Lost Toys’, and join a tribe of toys, for instance become dolls, bears or maybe puppets. Each tribe has its own secret mission (involving puzzles and the like), details of which are included with the festival ticket.
