Why are you called Funny Looking Creatures?
It’s a mixture of our first pet’s names, mothers maiden name and favourite song.
When did you first meet?
We first met a year ago in London and had a really strong connection, we flew straight out to Ibiza the next day. Ended up spending a week in Ibiza and a few missed flights later we
were back in London and living just a few streets from one another.
What inspired you two to get together and make music?
A high energy, the same vision and we are both into the same music.
How would you describe your sound?
We play records we like and music for the dancefloor. We both have different styles as we have been playing independently for years, it works as we balance each other out. We play all sorts from house to deep house, techno and psy tech!
If you could change anything in the world what would it be?
Caroline: Nic’s snoring

You are playing at Big Vinyl circus on blah blah blah what should we expect from your set?
It’s a surprise…. come see for yourself…
If you had to choose between House and Techno, which one would be your preference?
There’s good and bad in both genres so even if we were to choose between house and techno our definition of genres would be different to yours.
What have you got in store for 2012 and beyond?
We don’t like to make plans too far but right now we are both working in the studio together and have lots of exciting gigs coming up. Nic is super busy at Lo*kee with a forthcoming label and Caroline is planning some new releases and working on her psy project having just been signed to Hilltop records.
If you were both banished to a desert island and had to take each take 2 famous people dead or alive, who would they be and why would you take them?
Can we not take our friends? Ray Mears or Bear Grylls would be good for survival tips and we’d quite like a shamanic healer with us too, to keep us sane!
