SAB – SUNANDBASS Festival

SUNANDBASS is an exclusive drum and bass holiday based on the beautiful Italian island of Sardinia. For one whole week, people from all around the world gather together and dance to the music and celebrate life!
The holiday was thought of for friends to take a break and a chance to meet like minded people. It remains one of the strongest attractions to SAB and has a cutting edge musical diversity.
SAB has been around for the past nine years, with the first party taking place in 2003. It has become a well known event around the world for drum and bass lovers and it’s definitely one of the most unique festivals in the world.
There have been a variety of DJs and producers who have performed at this festival and it’s certainly one not to miss out on. In 2005, DJ/Producer John B performed as an MC and it’s one of the great performances since it started out in 2003. In 2008, it got even better! Makoto from Japan and Paradox Live were just a few names on the line-up that year, which proved to be another extravagant week!
The event has been getting bigger and better year on year and this year isn’t any different. With a variety of DJs/Producers on the decks performing throughout the week and with each having their own unique style, it’s going to prove to be another enthralling and crazy week!
This year, Body and Soul, Nu:Tone, Paradox and Skeptical are a few names on a long list of people who are on the decks, while DRS, Fava, Stamina MC and 2Shy are a few people are performing with their vocal talent. With a lot of talent on show, everyone’s bound to go bonkers!
There are also a number of places to chill out and enjoy the beautiful weather of Sardinia. Firstly, there’s Al Faro. It’s less than 100 meters from La Cinta Beach and is a family-fun hotel. It’s a fantastic hotel and it’s near the beach, so you can’t go wrong.
Then there’s Ambra Day. It’s a day club that’s located in the middle of town, where there’s a large garden and it’s easy to meet new people. It’s the perfect location to enjoy the weather, have a cocktail and to chill out. Then there’s Ambra Night, which is one of the most loved clubs in the area. It’s divided across two floors, with one being outside, while the other is located inside.
Bal Harbour is one of the most stylish venues and the airy beach adds to the fantastic atmosphere and the unbelievable experience. When the sun starts to set and the underwater lights are turned on, a jump into the swimming water will be the perfect start to your night.
There are also a number of beach parties at La Cinta and Ambra beach which you must attend! SUNANDBASS thrive upon beach parties and not attending one is a crime in itself. Beach parties are a whole new experience and it’s certainly not the same as to going to a club. It’s one the main events during the week, it’s one of the best experiences and it’ll blow your mind away!
So, for all you drum and bass lovers, attending SUNANDBASS would be glamorous and it’s an event you wouldn’t want to miss!
