Ed:it, a Promising New Edition to the Drum & Bass Scene

Having freshly arrived on the scene, most won’t have heard of the Nottingham based drum & bass producer, but with his track ‘Replicants’ being released on Critical Records last year, you can expect to be hearing a lot from this guy in the future. His style consists of complex drum rhythms overlaid on top of grizzly, spine chilling bass lines and dark, spacious breakdowns. The word dungeon music springs to mind. However, songs like ‘Soviet’ use ambient instruments and angelic vocals to create a dark/liquid fusion with heavenly results. A rising star for sure, you can follow Ed:it on Soundcloud here.
