Ostgut Ton vs Sub:stance tonight @ Hackney Downs Studios

Tonight, new promoters Broken & Uneven present a huge party with Ostgut Ton x Sub:Stance. Broken & Uneven is a new addition to the Capital’s ever expanding roll call of Promoters, but one with an underlying ethos of truly diverse and cutting edge programming, which is hardly surprising given the personnel involved.
A four-party (!) launch phase begins with an Easter double-header: Maundy Thursday, 5th April sees a collaboration with Electric Minds which brings together the mighty forces of Teutonic Techno titans Ostgut Ton and Scuba’s Sub:stance club night to a secret East London location.
Now in their seventh year as a record label, the Berghain and Panorama Bar-run Ostgut imprint is the quintessential House and Techno label. Representing them on the night will be Ben Klock, a DJ famed for his marathon Techno sets as well as his productions on Ostgut. Joining him will be Ryan Elliott who is known for his style of fast-paced and energetic mixing of the most upfront and diverse Techno out there. Rounding off their room line-up is Panorama Bar resident Tama Sumo whose sets of authentic, jacking and deep Chicago House have made her a mainstay on the Deep House circuit.
Sub:stance are no strangers to the vibe of Ostgut Ton as they hold a residency at Berghain which tends to be as experimental and daring as they see fit. Hotflush’s Scuba headlines their room, representing the deep muggy trenches of Techno, Bass/Dubstep and IDM.
