The founder of Canada's Reggae Music Achievement Award, Delroy 'Speedy' Sterling, died on Sunday afternoon.
Aged 54, Sterling had been battling a brain tumor for over two years and was on a life support machine since 16th March after collapsing at home. A great contributor to reggae music, the Jamaican born hosted the Mix Supreme Show on CHRY 105.5 FM in Toronto for 15 of his 20 years in the country. His presence on the reggae/ dancehall scene will be truly missed.
