29th June- 1st July 2012

The Ribble Valley, Lancashire

Orbital, Pariah, James Holden, Nathan Fake, Goldie, Mr Scruff and more

Based on the simple desire to ‘bring good people together to have a good time in beautiful surroundings’ Beat Herder is the place to be at!  Choosing to favour independent and local stall owners with a refreshing hand- crafted site, the event creates a utopia from the outside world for three days in the summer.

The fantastic festival will be returning to rural Lancashire for its seventh year, offering a unique formua of live music, locally sourced food and drink and an unpretentious Northern ethos to make it even more special.

NME are full of praise and said  "A completely back to basics festival, it’s built upon the simple principles of having fun, having a dance, and escaping the corporate machine for one weekend."  Drowned in Sound also has nothing but compliments for the outing.

If that still hasn’t sold you we are happy to announce that British electronic pioneers Orbital will be headlining. To make it even more memorable, Richard Fearless aka Death In Vegas, is also confirmed to play, fusing together sounds of electro, dub, rock, psychedelic and soul. And yet there’s another treat in store for you- the seminal names behind the development of reggae and ska music worldwide, the legendary Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry will be attending!
