To prolong your summer, a four hour plane trip to Antalya to soak up the sun and swim the warm sea isn’t such a bad idea for October. Splash out or holiday on a budget, either way, we’ve come up with the best picks of restaurants, clubs and culture to help you get the most out of the south coast.
On a Budget
Stay - Leda beach hotel - £12 to £24.99
Situated in the heart of Side town, full of Roman ruins - this basic hotel embellishes in the character of town life. With its own private beach and pool, you need not travel far for the public sands. In Side’s hotspot, these basic, clean rooms are perfect for those who plan to tour the area by day and party by night.

Culture - Roman Amphitheatre - £5
The ancient ruins are at the forefront of Side, with the whole town sub-merged in beautiful pillars, walls and cobble stones from the Roman Empire, you needn’t pay to see a historical site. However, descending the steps into what once were battlegrounds in the Amphitheatre is an experience worth paying for.

Spoil Yourself
Stay - Barut Hotels Hemera - £47/£81
If you have cash in your pocket then we suggest residing in this hotel complex just outside of Side town. Complete with five stars, it hones an indoor and outdoor pool, a private beach and even a miniature golf site. The trendy interior and grand exterior has everything to offer, without having to step out of the double doors.

Lunch - Antalya Mountains - £25
The best place to go for lunch is to retrieve it fresh from the source – in the Antalya Mountains. Dinner - Barut Hotel - All Inclusive
Enjoy the all-inclusive offer and dine in the Barut Hotel. Their authentic cuisine is infused by the Mediterranean and Arabic culture consisting of mainly chick peas, diced meat and spices. When selecting from a buffet definitely try out the Tatlisi – also known as pumpkin dessert. The savoury may put you off but it’s sweetened by grape syrup and bergamot jam. This trendy club offers three different areas catering for a different atmosphere; set next to the Temple of Apollo’s remains the interior emulates its importance through its decor and style. Prepare for R&B, clubbing anthems, and a full dose of energetic party-goers.

Culture - Turkish bath - £15/£20
You can’t go to Turkey without experiencing one of their conventional methods of cleansing and relaxation – a Turkish bath. Teamed with vigorous exfoliation, sweltering in the steam room, and a gentle massage, but be sure to try this before you develop a tan.
