Sasha Launches New Label with IMS Anthem

Platform for upcoming electronic artists created by Welsh DJ
This week has seen Sasha launch a brand new label called ‘Last Night On Earth’. It is designed to be a platform to release records produced by Sasha and other upcoming and current electronic artists that he supports. He has already lined up future releases from both Thomas Smith and Max Cooper. Interestingly, the first 6 record sleeve designs have been commissioned to visual artist Susie Wright, which together form a collage of Sasha’s favourite cities.
The first track released on the label is the ‘anthem’ commissioned by the International Music Summit for their annual Ibiza event. The track is called ‘Cut Me Down’ and is Sasha’s first vocal track in just over 10 years. Created in New York with Swedish vocalist Krister Linder, it is a return to solo production work for the DJ. The B-side is a remix by Layo & Bushwaka who produced a track full of signature riffs and bouncy drums without hearing the original
