Just 9 hours ago glorified hacker Anonymous has released a message, statement and picture of a unicorn simultaneously on the KKK’s main Twitter account. With street protests and clashes with police being at the centre of media attention in the US during September and October, the latest development to make the headlines has been online. The message that includes the statement “the Ku Klux Klan is a terrorist group” has gone viral, responding to the KKK leaders handing out leaflets across Ferguson threatening “lethal force”.
The hacking group OperationKKK have launched their own Twitter account and have been using the #OpKKK to retaliate to the KKK tweets. The Twitter group's mission statement reads: 'Ku Klux Klan you have expected us. Let the cyber war begin', claiming to have only just begun their anti-KKK activities.
