Day One Festival, Birmingham

This January the people behind Birmingham’s Lab 11 are embarking on their sophomore Day One Festival. After the raging success of last year these guys are looking to up their game and bring the best in house and techno to the streets of Birmingham from 12pm to 1am on January 1st. 4,000 ravers will have the privilege of filling out a huge space comprised of marquees, warehouses and an abandoned car park, all decorated to the max and, we are told, with no expenses spared!
The encompassing motif will be of a “lost world” with jungle vibes infused and an abundance of lasers, lights and an a sound system to match what should be an awe inspiring spectacle. Some big names are on show as well, with the likes of MK, David Squillace, Matthias Tanzmann, Huxley, Waze & Odyssey, DeWalta and Samu.L forming just part of the titanic names on the line-up. There’ll also be an array of street food, bars, and seating areas to take a break, have a snack and refresh in between dance sessions.
