It may seem far away but tickets are already on sale for the third Stop Making Sense festival, 31st July to 3rd August, in Tisno, Croatia. Some of Britain’s best electronic labels and club nights will be returning, such as AUS music, along with friends Warm, Trouble Vision, Orlando Boom and pride of Glasgow, Sub Club. Newbies include Get Diverted and Abattoir and on top of this, Lovesick, Croatia Calling, Danza Macabra and many, many more will be there to make your summer the best yet. In case you’re still in the dark regarding the know how of dance music, the organisers have helpfully laid out a suggested playlist here http://stopmakingsense.eu/stop-making-sense-playlist/
Located within equidistance of both Split and Zadar airports, the festival can’t be beaten where scenery is concerned. Lush hills and shimmering beaches outline the spot, with nothing but hot sun in that bright blue sky. Have a look at this video of last year’s event to see how beautiful a place can be.

Festival DJs play from 12pm-2am every day, however the ticket price covers entry to the local open-air beach side nightclub, Barbarella’s. This means partying continues until 6am, just in time to watch the sun come up over an azure sea. There’s also a tiki bar blasting out tunes while serving up exotic cocktails, an elite boat party, and the town supermarket is never a far cry if you fancy putting on more than your swimsuit for any length of time.
The Guardian, Time Out and Vice Magazine have all sung praises for this gorgeous event, naming it a rising star in electronic festivals. Still in its youth, Stop Making Sense remains a semi intimate affair, but does not lack crowds. Imagine the whole of South and East London’s club scene being relocated to one of the most vibrant and attractive locations on Earth.
Flights to Split or Zadar can be found on Ryanair and Easyjet from as little as £76, however other airlines will fly into Zagreb, meaning a slightly longer journey time on the other side. Driving or even water taxiing time from Split and Zadar airports takes roughly one hour, and a shuttle bus can be booked from now. Accommodation is avaiblle on site and early bird tickets are only £100, but will soon run out, so don’t wait too late.
