A look some of the best entrepeneur success stories

Nothing can deter a great entrepreneur and they stop at nothing regardless of their circumstance, we have a look some of the entrepreneur's who started small and made it big.

 

Bill Gates

It’s the usually the most successful entrepreneurs that have the humblest of beginnings and Bill Gates is no execption, setting up what would be one of the most successful companies of all time. It started in 1975 by Bill and his friend Paul Allen in his garage where they first created software which they sold to IBM and led them on the right track.

 

Sir Alan Sugar

Familiar to most as the star in the UK Apprentice Television show, Alan Sugar is a giant among entrepreneurs and he started off very small selling electrical goods out of his van as a teenager. His next venture was Amstrad which manufactured computers, the companies future was bright and after years of success they achieved a stock market value of over £1 Billion. Sir Alan then went on to persue other ventures which including Aviation and acting as chairman for Tottenham Football club.

 

Steve Jobs

Starting Apple in 1976 with his friend Steve Wozniack in his parents garage, with a small team of programmers they went to create their first prototype computers. This was only the start as further along the long the line came the macintosh computer and Apple software that went on to dominate the phone and technology industry and still remains a market leader to this day.

 

Richard Branson

A serial Entrepreneur known the world over for creating one of the most iconic brands ever Virgin which ventured into many different markets such as music, aviation and now famously space tourism. He started out at 16 by creating Student Magazine, and then branched out into the record business with Virgin Records with their first release being the chart topping Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield. After years in the record business he went on to form some of the most successful companies such as Virgin Airlines and Virgin Galactic.

 

Jermaine Dupri

Jermaine Dupri is one the most successful music producers working with Artists from Mariah Carey, Usher, Jay-Z and more. He started out in the early 90’s making beats when he was a teenager and discovered future stars Kriss Kross when he was in a shopping mall, seeing their potential he took it upon himself to write their entire album in his bedroom. With the lead single Jump becoming a hit their debut album Totally Crossed Out went on to sell over 4 million copies making turning the 19 year old producer into a millionaire.
