Bailey's back on the radio!

Drum and Bass | Friday 19th February 2016 | Arren

Bailey is returning to the airwaves presenting his own Intabeats show on Mi-Soul on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday every month.

On his new show Bailey will be spinning his the hottest, freshest new material from the world of jungle/drum & bass alongside the music that shaped the genre today. It's a great return to the radio for this drum & bass representer who's previously hosted a drum & bass show on BBC Radio 1xtra.

He is joining Mi-Soul, founded by Gordon Mac and Martin Strivens. These guys are legends who began a lifelong journey with radio when first setting up Kiss 100 back in 1985. He carried the station through from an illegal pirate station to the first legal radio to exclusively play black music. He chose to leave in 1997, after making it one of the UK’s biggest, most successful radio stations.

After a gap Gordon and Martin returned with a new station Mi-Soul with a team of highly experienced DJs, including Ronnie Herel, Jumping Jack Frost, and Femi Fem. They aim to make it the key destination for everything soulful welcoming house, reggae, hip hop, jungle, and much more to transmit out.

All their DJs are passionate and credible in the genres they represent, and being free from strict demands from outside commercial groups means they can really get down with their playlists.

Bailey joins this already impressive list of station DJs in the second drum & bass show, alternating the Wednesday nights with Jumping Jack Frost’s official drum & bass show from from 11pm till 1am.
